Trust and sourcing
Editorial policy
China Trip Brief is written by the China Travel Editorial Team as a practical planning resource, not an official tourism authority. We begin with information published by transport operators, destination authorities and other clearly identified sources.
How information is checked
- Stable route descriptions are checked against official transport or destination sources where available.
- Changeable details such as fares, hours, booking rules and access notices are labelled for a same-day check.
- Pages show a last-updated date and list relevant sources near the end.
- We separate direct observation from research. The site does not imply a personal visit unless one is explicitly documented.
Updates and corrections
Pages are reviewed when an official source changes, a route becomes impractical or a reader reports a specific problem. The last-updated date is not a promise that every venue detail is permanently current; travellers should still check same-day notices for timed services.
Images and rights
Images are optimized for faster loading. Available source, creator and licence details are listed in the image credits. A source link does not imply that the source endorses this site.
Independence
China Trip Brief does not accept payment for a positive review or display fabricated ratings. Destinations that are not ready are clearly marked by release stage and do not link to unfinished guides.
